5th September 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods and hot Max Speed: Distance Covered: Friday 5th September - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods and warm. I actually did my exercises to the back garden this morning for the first time for 5 days, then Mag went to pick up Maeva who arrived full of beans in her clacky shoes and frilly skirt:) After a noisy hour at home I packed a picnic and we drove to Felixstowe Ferry to walk to our spot on the beach at the entrance to the River Deben, unfortunately Maeva fell over and cut her hand which dampened the picnic a little:( It was lovely on the beach but too hot for us so we headed back to the van to drive the short distance to a friend with a lovely one year old and Maeva proptly fell asleep! We had a great get together with the two girls getting on really well! Then home for some Peppa Pig as I dozed on the settee. Mag takes Maeva home, then I head down to Felixstowe Ferry to catch the sunset which was pretty average but the nearly full moon was cool:) Photo Album here |
